Leisegang Feinmechanik-Optik is a German company with a long family tradition that was initially founded over 120 years ago as a photography retail shop with a small adjoining fine mechanical optical company.

Colposcopes have been made by Leisegang Feinmechanik-Optik GmbH since 1948 and over the years the company has become one of the market leaders in the field of colposcope production.

Both nationally and internationally, Leisegang colposcopes are referred to as the GOLDEN STANDARD of colposcopy. Furthermore, they are exported to over 70 countries around the world.

    Leisegang and  Eurotech  (exclusive distributor  of Leisegang in Russia) win a tender of 21 colposcopes in December 2011.

  • China:

    Cooper Surgical /Leisegang has appointed Beijing SWSY Technology Co.Ltd as exclusive distributor for colposcopes in People's Republic of China.

  • Berlin:

    In January 2011 our LEISEGANG-TRAININGS-ZENTRUM opened at our factory in Berlin, Germany, Leibnizstr. 32 Berlin.

    We conduct training classes for German and foreign distributors regularly.

  • China:

    Together with its Chinese exclusive distributor SWSY, Leisegang exhibited their colposcopes at Chinese Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) in Shenzhen in April 2011.  It's the largest medical equipment fair in Asia, held twice a year.

  • Malaysia:

    Leisegang and AVRO MEDICAL (Leisegang Exclusive distributor in Malaysia) sponsored a workshop in Melaka/Malaysi in April 2011. More than 80 gyneacologists from all over Malaysia attended the workshop. Prof. Dr. Quek, a famous gynecologist from Singapore gave a lecture on colposcopy and conducted the training courses.
